Shoes and Me, the Greatest Love Story

I love shoes. I've been in love with shoes since I was a child. I remember one time, when I was about seven years old and my mom took me to buy a pair of dressing shoes for an important party in the family. I told her that all I wanted was a pair of white shoes that made a tap with the heel when I walked. I just wanted to make the same sound that grown women made with their high heels - and always felt they completed a look, especially if you're carrying a matching evening bag. And that day I got my very first high heels, a pair of white pointy ballerinas with less than an inch of high heels. I was exultant, that only could mean I was growing up. The next important pair of shoes I remember are those I bought to wear on my fifteenth birthday party, a big dressup event where I got to be dressed like a princess... and my shoes could not be less than that. Those were my first real high heels and I adored them. They were just a pair of classic white shoes with two inches high heels but they made my year.
